PAT series (4 Bags)

The PAT3800/4 is a user-friendly, dry, fast and reliable plasma thawing equipment able to thaw up to 4 bags. Even if the equipment works with no contact between warm water and the bags, the thawing speed is comparable to the normal waterbath method.

The main advantage of the dry system is the prevention of any water-borne cross contamination.

The equipment incorporates a 15 litres thermostatic tank which supplies thermally controlled water to four membrane slots, through a bidirectional pumping system.

This peculiar device, while pressurizing the four thawing membranes, provides a gentle peristaltic stirring action, able to allow a correct circulation of liquid plasma around the frozen core, increasing the bag’s heat transfer rate.

In addition, the high precision thermal regulation of the thawing liquid and the programmable pressurizing time allow the user to design customized thawing cycles.

The PAT 3800 is equipped with all the following required safety devices:

-water minimum level alarm

-high and low water temperature alarm

-elapsed thawing time alarm

-anti-spillage lower drip tray with external emeergency drain duct

-4 independent anti-burst covers

-4 separate thawing slots, separately removable for disinfection
